This is the perfect place to stay in Paris! It's your own private house in the centre of Paris. We realy liked the interieur, the privacy and the comfort. When we visit Paris again we definitly will stay here.
We stayed with 3 persons and loved going 'home' after a day strolling in the city. Easy to travel from Gare du Nord, close to le marais.
Gilian is a very good host and gives clear instructions. We didn't meet him during our stay, but we like his style ;. Very cute place, the checkin and out was simple and effective. Great location. The bathroom was a bit too open for my liking I wish it had been a bit more private and I found the hanging bed to be a bit scary for me. Overall everyone enjoyed the stay in this great house. All good, easy access, nice flat on the yard side of the building which makes the place very quiet while being near busy streets Nice place!
Gilian's place is positively perfect. He's thought of everything ladies, no need to pack your hairdryer or curling iron, he has that. There's also an iron and board to press your clothes after the journey. His kitchen has everything you need to make your own food after gathering supplies at the wonderful markets just around the corner. I am pretty fussy when it comes to beds and i was pleasantly surprised to have slept SO comfortably!
Once inside, you wouldn't have a clue you're smack in the middle of a crazy busy city! We took the metro wherever we wanted from the station down the street and were able to find two reasonably priced garages to park our rental car, when we weren't using it for excursions, just one and two blocks over.
